DRAIN
RELINING
Restore damaged drainage infrastructure without excavation. Melbourne's drain relining specialists — CCTV inspection, structural repair, 50-year warranty.
PIPE-WITHIN-A-PIPE
TECHNOLOGY
Cured-In-Place Pipe (CIPP) lining repairs cracked, root-invaded or collapsed drainage pipes from the inside — without digging. A resin- impregnated liner is inserted, inflated and cured to form a new structural pipe within the existing host pipe.
The result is a seamless, corrosion-resistant pipe section with a smooth bore — improving flow and eliminating root re-entry points. All works are performed to AS/NZS 3500 with full documentation.
HD camera inspection maps the pipe condition, identifies defects and confirms relining suitability. Full footage and stills report provided.
High-pressure water jetting removes debris, scale and root ingress. Pipe is cleaned to the host wall to maximise liner adhesion.
Resin-impregnated liner inserted and inflated. UV or steam-cured to form a structural pipe. Same-day return to service in most cases.
Post-relining CCTV confirms quality. Written condition report, warranty certificate and compliance documentation issued.
SUITABLE PIPE TYPES
PlumbCheck Group carries liner stock for all common pipe materials and diameters found in residential and commercial drainage systems.
Common in pre-1970s residential properties. Prone to root intrusion and joint separation — ideal relining candidate.
Older commercial and multi-storey applications. Corrosion and tuberculation addressed without full pipe replacement.
Reinforced and unreinforced concrete pipe. Crack repair, joint sealing and full structural relining available.
Impact damage, root ingress or offset joints in PVC runs repaired with targeted liner sections or full-length relining.
Asbestos cement pipe relining avoids disturbance and hazardous removal — managed in accordance with safe work procedures.
Stock held for 100mm, 150mm, 225mm and 300mm diameters. Larger diameter liner mobilisation available for commercial jobs.
